A surreal short film about a patient (James MacGregor) who can only see in black and white. Chiaroscuro follows his descent into distrust of both his strange doctor (Sean C. Michael), and the world around him. The short film features South African actors Sean C. Michael and James MacGregor. It was shot on a Sony Z7. Filmed at the Baxter TV Studio. On location in Cape Town, South Africa. This was a UCT student production. Sean C. Michael is best known for his international work in productions such as 24: Redemption, The Triangle and Lost Boys: The Thirst. Upcoming productions include The Girl and Death Race: Inferno. This is James MacGregor's first film credit. Sean and James have since worked on other short film productions.
