A simple plot, words gone, this film proves why short films a still the best and most complete art form. Well, at least it's been a while since I've seen a short film. Tennant and Hunter portray love at first sight wonderfully. The director proves that this simple plot is such a universal, if not dreamy, understanding amongst everyone, no matter who they are. Words then become useless, and any little push the audience needs in the right direction is shown written, on signs along the way. Maybe they were going for a destiny thing, I can only guess. Still, people like twists on old favorites, and that is what makes this film so charming. I myself am a victim of THAT need for love/escapism/happy endings. I'm sure you are too.

There is nothing like a good short film.

This one contains almost no dialogue, but is clever, touching, and funny. The acting is very good, especially considering the constraints of time and scope.

David Tennant especially shines as the Traffic Warden who might make you think twice about saying mean things next time you get a parking ticket.

The music, setting, and characters unite to create a piece of art that is harmonious and a treat for the eyes and ears. Extra little touches add a layer of clever creativity that elevates it from good to great.

I highly recommend this short. It is one of the best I have ever seen.

I usually love myself a humorous romantic little short-film, even if it's gooey. This one, however, didn't do much for me. We see actor David Tennant, shortly before he became Doctor Who, as the central character from the title in this 10-minute-movie by writer-director Donald Rice, who recently released his full feature film "Cheerful Weather for the Wedding".

Except the very first part, which includes another woman and her child, the film is all about Tennant's character running behind and trying to catch a woman who he saw for the first time seconds ago and who carries a little goldfish tank with her. When he finally gets her in the bus and gives her a tissue with goldfish images, he manages to smash the tank accidentally. The two grab the dying fish and run towards the nearest fountain to save them. Also, they discover at the same time that they're madly in love with each other for some reason. I liked some of the camera work, like the "Romeo shot", but due to the glaring plot holes and incomprehensible actions of the lead character, I can't recommend this short film.

I came across this little gem by "accident" and loved it. It is a very well written story and acted perfectly.

The traffic warden, the young girl, the busy mum and the kids... it is an everyday story but summery magical and will put a smile on you face.

Its one of those things you don't look for it just crosses your way. This little story warms my heart every time I watch it. At the end you just want to give the cute couple a big Aaww..

A fan of lighthearted stories? Love well made short films and want to see what David Tennant did besides being Dr Who- just watch this and you will love it.
