The rangers are alarmed when Bulk and Skull recount their run-in with the Red Zeo Ranger 5 especially since they have yet to find him. Tommy has been brain-washed into thinking he's the King of the Machine Empire and that the rangers are his enemies! Jason and Katherine go to where Bulk and Skull claimed to have seen him; Jason gets sucked into another dimension where he must face Tommy who is more than willing to destroy him!

During a conversation between Kat and Jason, Jason states that he let Tommy down once before, and that he won't let it happen again. He was referring to "The Green Candle Part 2" in Mighty Morphing Power Rangers, when he was unable to get past Goldar and stop the green candle from burning out, which would result in Tommy loosing the Green Ranger powers.
