Paranormal Sex Tape (2016) Online

This truly pitiful experience in amateur film-making has the on-screen title of SEX TAPE HORROR, although the cover repackages it as PARANORMAL SEX TAPE, no doubt to cash in on the continuing popularity of the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise. It's a British production that clocks in a little over an hour, and consists of a woman finding herself haunted by a sex demon.

For any cult or exploitation film fan, that premise sounds electrifying, but in reality this is a home movie and seems to have been shot in a couple of spare afternoons. There's no script and very little dialogue and 95% of the running time consists of the camera following the main actress as she wanders aimlessly around the streets looking for a plot line.

Yes, there are a couple of sex scenes here with ample nudity, but are they reason to tune in? Not for this viewer. The supernatural stuff is limited to beast noises on the soundtrack and some joke toy shop novelty claws. Occasionally the narrative breaks down completely and there are just five minute sequences of psychedelic imagery playing out. I also noticed a lot of scenes are repeated in a rare case of a film borrowing footage from itself. PARANORMAL SEX TAPE truly is a horrible sit-through and not worth anybody's time.

Well for starters this has got to be the most terrible movie I have ever seen. The look on the "stars" face was of anything but pleasure, she looked very awkward. Also this movie was filmed by a bunch of amateurs who have no idea what camera quality is. A simple phone has much better quality. Come on this movie was publicized in 2016, they had to have something better to use. Or a crappy camera look was they way they wanted to go. I personally regret ever coming across this monstrosity of a movie or film. I do not understand how this could have possibly gotten 2 10/10 reviews, unless the writer and one of the cast members were really full of themselves and did it of their own accord, and entered the rating themselves. But that is just a theory. Thank you for the bull crap movie I very much appreciated it I wasted a good 15 minutes of my life watching it and a good 20 writing this review. So to anyone who had the stomach to watch this movie I applaud you.

Scarlett (Amber West, a blonde) moves to London where she does drugs and has poorly filmed sex, mostly in black and white, David Lynch, WTF style. She has visions and dreams of someone following her in a hoodie and needing a manicure. That is pretty much it until the end.

The film doesn't have much in the way of dialogue. I was waiting for Woody Allen to do an aside or outtake and explain what I was watching and why I should keep watching it....other than the nudity. It didn't happen. Scarlett films what she believes is the man tracking her. We don't know if she was a victim of rape and is haunted by it, or has a premonition of the future until it is explained by her late in the film.

Terrible art house style script. It has "paranormal" in the title, but is not a found footage tape. At times it is worse than a found footage tape. It does have a twist. Too bad we had to watch an hour of this production to get there.
