Casey Anthony: An American Murder Mystery (2017)

Episode 2: A Shallow Grave

This second of a three part serise takes a look at the discovery of skeletal remains and the lead up to the Casey Anthony trial where her lawyer would drop a bombshell early in the case.

This second episode is another good one because, as a documentary, it does a very good job at talking about the scientific evidence as well as the other bits of evidence, which allowed the state to build a case against Anthony. If you followed the trial then you know the bombshell that came out in the court and that too is discussed here.

As with the first episode, this is certainly very entertaining and it features a lot of key interviews with the various players in the case. This includes Casey's mom and dad as well as Dr. Jan Garavaglia who many will know from her popular television show. All of these interviews are certainly very good, although I must admit that I wished the parents had been in here more but I'm guessing they were saving that for the final episode.
