It's trying...I'll give you that, it's TRYING to be disturbing. But it just fails hilariously. There are several plot threads, none of which have anything to do with each other. Random characters pop up and then act like we know who they are or how they got there. The acting is abysmal pretty much across the board. Except there's a cop who is also terrible, but at least he's acting like a cartoon so he's a little more fun.

So, pluses? Well, there's some nudity, so...I guess that's good.

Seriously, the guy who made this movie must be about the dumbest guy out there. He can't even get the very basics rights. Like, who is this person and what is their relation to anyone else? It's hilarious.

I happened to read a recent review of The Killing Games, and I am not sure what movie this person was watching, but they got it all wrong, or just did not get it at all.

This is one of those movies that just seems to grow on you as you watch it. The movie opens up with one of the most frightening scenes I have ever witnessed in a movie theatre. Son of Satan, and Dirty Jesus kill two lovers in the woods while two young girls look on, and without giving too much away, this scene has to be witnessed to be believed.

I check in here every now and then to see if there is any news on this movie and when it might be released on DVD, and I just had to shake my head when I read that review.

The movie was shot on a shoe string budget, and it is quite obvious when you see the movie, however, it is very innovative, and the director is actually a really good guy. He answered questions for the crowd after the screening, threw out killing games T-Shirts to lots of people in the crowd, and signed posters and autographs.

The director being the way he was, it was just like icing on the cake.

The movie has its pitfalls here and there, but that is what makes the movie special. The storyline twists and turns and you never really know what is going to happen next.

The ending is horrific beyond horrific, and he had to be brave to make a movie like this.

The black on violence is disturbing, but all so realistic, and the girl being raped in the car, I cannot even begin to describe the chills that shivered up my backside.

The audience was yelling and screaming and had so much fun at the Calgary theatre. I would highly recommend this movie to any person who is into crazy movies that push the envelope.

It may not always be the most stylish and slickest movies as it unravels, but it is different, unique, and something that has to be seen to be believed.

The movie also seems to be in some kind of time capsule that can never be dated for some reason.

On a a lot of levels it reminds me of the trailer park boys for some reason. If the trailer park boys made a horror thriller movie, this would probably be it.

I can hardly wait until this movie is released. I keep telling everyone about the movie. It has cult written all over it.

My favorite character would have to be Birdman. He is such a loving father to his daughter in the movie. See this movie when you get the chance and decide for yourself. It's also one of those movies that sticks with you long after you have seen it, and you keep thinking about it. It toys with you mind.

I hope it is released really soon so I can watch it again.

May not be for everyone, and I highly doubt that people into Walt Disney movies would get it, or if you are into just lame mainstream horror movies, but for those who like their bowl of cereal a little on the strange and wild side, you'll love the killing games.
