"Stan" is a song by music artist Eminem from the year 2000 and this one here, "Eminem: Stan", is of course the music video for said song. In here, Eminem reflects as usual about life in general, but also on stardom and what comes with it. In this very case, it is a deranged fan who wants to be exactly like his idol and as his insanity grows, so does his violent with a tragic ending for the people around him. Who would have guessed that Dido's and Eminem's voice work so well together in here. Also in terms of acting, both are doing a good job just like Devon Sawa, who plays the main character. There is a short (6-minute) and a long version (8 minutes) of this video. It is a pretty atmospheric watch, very dark from Eminem and it is one of my favorite works from him, especially as a writer. But it is a catchy tune too. No matter what you think of his art, you must respect him for making it big in a music genre that is almost entirely dominated by African Americans. His talent got him there. Thumbs up for Eminem and this song.
