This is Jacob in a stand-up, one-man show. An hour and three minutes. He is as we know him... he uses this style of starting out calm, building up, and sometimes getting intense. His twists(extreme and/or shocking) and the pretense of being arrogant, cruel and selfish(his low-key delivery makes it effective, and it's one of his only features that set him apart from Anders "Anden" Matthesen, by far the lead in the area, who keeps to a much faster pace), the way he underplays many punchlines are the best aspects of it. He takes on terrorism, politicians, our news coverage, teenagers, religion, and the old stand-by of sex. There is a decent amount of subjects... it would be great if there were running themes and gags, however... callbacks, something that ties it all together, somehow. It's helped by his very game performance, and the fact that the material, including black comedy, a ton of irony, cleverness and offensive content, is very funny, at times downright hilarious. The filming and editing are standard(other than one bit, were it frequently fades between shots... you'll know why when you see it), not flashy, no complaints there. This comes in the Tingleff Box, that comes with six minutes of outtakes, the CD The Black Album(42 and a half minutes of him delivering jokes to an audience; it was done because he's nearly all verbal, and uses very few hand gestures or facial expressions), a 2 minute intro to said audio recording, and clips of his appearance(possibly the full extent) on Stand-up.dk(our main television outlet for such, here in Denmark) in the years of 1997, 2002 and 2003, 4 and a half minutes, 13 minutes and 24 and a half minutes, respectively. I recommend this, and this set, to any fan of the man... if you don't already know and like his approach, you may not want to start with this. 7/10

Oh my God... why this man has become a stand up comedian I don't understand... He's so unfunny. There is absolutely nothing funny about him. He's the most boring man ever to have been in the world of stand up! I've seen him in two shows prior to this and he's just not funny! I gave this a chance just hoping he would get his thing together... but no!

In this show he keeps on talking endlessly... I don't even remember the topics anymore. I just remember having the most boring time of my life and wanting to choke Jacob Tingleff for having ruined a small part of my life that I will never get back!

If you are into unfunny stand up comedians whose lame jokes (or what is supposed to be jokes) is not offending anyone and is not doing anything to anybody then you might would like Jacob Tingleff, but otherwise stay away from him like the plague! There are so many funny Danish stand ups out there... Go watch them instead!
