Albert is appalled when Harold returns with a cartload of coffins. Harold insists on keeping some of them in the house which riles superstitious Albert but by the time the night is over Harold is equally spooked by his purchases so that both he and his father end up sleeping in the stable with Hercules the horse.

Harold is pleased to have picked up a couple of coffins and thinks this could be a good bit of a business. After all death is guaranteed.

Albert is appalled and superstitious about it all. He thinks that having the coffins in the house would bring bad. Albert decides to he will not spend the night in the house and goes to sleep in the stable with Hercules.

However suddenly things go bump in the night and Harold is spooked out. Before you know it he also joins Albert in the stable, claiming he is there to keep Albert company.

There is plenty of banter between the two leads, especially as Albert seems to be genuinely spooked having the coffins about. Harold's playfulness takes an about turn though in the middle of the night.
