Brian De Palma has done it again! This time around, he has teamed up with the King of Smiles, Gary Busey. Despite looking a bit long in the tooth, Gary Busey delivers one of the finest performances to grace the silver screen. The storyline is like nothing I have ever seen, or heard of, before. It centres around a down and out football coach who breaks the rules to get his team to the final of the championship, then needs to decide between continuing to break the rules or trying to win it on their own merit.

So many people come to this crossroads at some point in their life. It is so refreshing to see such a concept played out for all to see.

At first glance, I saw Brian DePalma's name against this, and I immediately thought of Scarface, The Untouchables, Mission: Impossible, etc. But, alas, THAT Brian DePalma appears to have nothing to do with this Gary Busey turkey. In fact, I suspect that THAT Brian DePalma may be seeking to take legal action against Brian J. DePalma for sullying both names "Brian" and "DePalma".

The sole reason for my voting this as 10/10 is for the originality of the storyline.... or for being so tenacious as to churn out the same rehashed storyline for the 54,768th time. It's one or the other, I cant quite recall. Take your pick.

In actual fact, the only reason I felt compelled to rate this movie and write a review was because for the first time ever I searched a random film and found that it was yet to be rated or reviewed by anyone, that IMDb would not even give it an average rating out of 10. The only synopsis was written by the director himself.

As an amateur film maker myself, I want to know exactly how Brian J. DePalma Esq. managed to lure Gary Busey into making this. At least the films I have in mind to make have new story lines.

Hell, if you're reading this Mr Busey, I am a big fan of your films and your winning smile. Drop me a line and get Jake Busey in on the act as well. I haven't yet written a film about 2 half men half horses (I guess two centaurs would be correct) but I can do if you guys are interested.
